Lovely location, room large and clean. Breakfast outstanding, staff helpful and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Stayed only three nights, bed so comfortable and everywhere so quiet.

The accomodation was first rate and spotless. The friendliness and attitude of the staff was first rate. The breakfast was the best I have had in many years and professionally served. Ample parking as you would expect for a golf club.The only issue we had was that we were not able to extend our stay for a few day.s more. Would recommend without reservation

Absolutely STUNNING!!!! Everything about it was just soooo AMAZING!! From being able to get into the room well before official check in, to being greeted by very friendly and personable staff, the whole experience so far has made up for being ripped off by another Hotel in the area!!! And when we arrived, we were told we had been upgraded free of charge - the room has a huge double bed, in fact it was a huge room too, soooo clean and soooo well cared for!!! The Bathroom was just OUTSTANDING - Not only with a walk in shower that was the best we have ever used, but a separate bath that was AMAZING too!!! This property was recommended to us by two lovely people we met at the other Hotel, and they were both spot on with their recommendation!!! If only we had found this AWESOME place before!

Cannot fault it. It’s not a four star hotel but it really felt like one! Beautiful room, clean and modern. Amazing breakfast, left totally stuffed. Very well accommodated for vegetarian guests and we never felt once like we were troubling the host with any request

Breakfast great. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Our only, but nonetheless important, gripe was that we were only told on the day of arrival that there would be no food served that evening due to staff shortages. It was a pain having to travel a few miles for dinner on a very wet late September evening especially given we had booked with a view to dining in house.

Excellent stay.. beautiful location. The Hambleton Suite was amazing, no faults at all. The mattress was that comfy, we've gone and purchased one from the same company. Food magnificent, and staff great too ,and very helpful. Will definitely be staying again

This is in effect the golf club, yet not exclusively as its open to the public for food and is a venue for weddings and functions. It's a beautiful setting with stunning views from the terrace over Rutland water reservoir and surrounding countryside. The staff are really friendly and the food is good being cooked fresh to order. There's even a pick your own fruit farm on the way out! Lovely setting, really relaxing spot and I'd say worth visiting to just kick back and relax.
